Frequently Asked Questions
When are you open?
We serve dinner from 18:30 to 22:30, Wednesday through Monday. We are closed on Tuesdays.
Do I need to book a table?
Walk-ins are always welcome, but we are a small dining room and fill up quickly in high season, so booking ahead is the safest way to get the evening you want. You can reserve through the booking link on this site.
Where exactly are you in Paleochora?
On a quiet side street in the middle of Paleochora, a little away from the noise of the main road. Most guests find the walk part of the pleasure.
What kind of food do you serve?
Greek and Mediterranean cooking with the emphasis on seafood, alongside meat dishes, pasta and risotto, salads and desserts. The kitchen keeps things modern without losing what the dishes are supposed to taste like.
How fresh is the fish?
It comes in fresh, and you are welcome to come and choose your whole fish before it is cooked. Ask what landed that day — the answer changes with the weather.
Can you cater for vegetarians, vegans or gluten-free diets?
Yes. Dishes on our menu are tagged vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and contains nuts, so you can see at a glance what works for you. Tell us about any allergy when you order and we will guide you through the options.
Do you have a wine list?
We do — white, rosé, red and sparkling, with an emphasis on Greek producers, plus cocktails, ouzo and raki, spirits and beers. Say what you are eating and we will suggest something to go with it.
Is it a good place for a special occasion?
It is one of the reasons people come. The room is small, softly lit and unhurried, which suits an anniversary or a quiet dinner for two. Let us know when you book and we will look after the details.
